Dee Ann Snarr Whipple

Dee Ann Snarr Whipple, 77, passed away September 16, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada from a brief illness. Dee Ann was born March 2, 1938, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the youngest of three children born to Delmar (Dick) Snarr and Margaret Oliverson Snarr. After graduation from Idaho Falls High School, Dee Ann married Laird Whipple Sr. in Idaho Falls. Dee Ann and Laird spent their married life in Las Vegas, engaged in construction and ranching in Caliente, Nevada. Laird Sr., passed away October 16, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dee Ann is survived by her three children: Son, Laird (Elizabeth) Whipple, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; Son, Courtney (Cary) Whipple of Las Vegas, NV; Daughter, Angela (Tony) Branco of Las Vegas, NV; Eight grandchildren, Lindsey, Kadee, Dallas, Calvin, Wesley, Anna, Addison and Austin and two great grandchildren, Abry and Laird Also mourning her passing is her mother, Margaret O. Snarr of Idaho Falls and Fountain Hills, AZ, and her sister, Sherlene (Octavio) Galindo also of Fountain Hill, AZ. Preceding her in death are her husband, Laird; father, Delmar “Dick” Snarr; and her older brother, K (Diana) Snarr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2015, in Las Vegas, NV. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Laird, in Logan Dale, NV.
