DEE AVERY
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Stanley Dee Avery, 68, of Idaho Falls, died October 10, 2001, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center following a heart attack.
He was born July 11, 1933, at Milo, to Ira Roy Avery and Hannah Atheldia Palmer Avery. He grew up in Milo and attended schools at Rigby, Milo, and graduated from Ucon High School. He also attended Utah State University.
He married Rosalee Mae Lambert on June 21, 1960, at Garfield, Idaho. A lifelong resident of Milo, he was a horseman, rancher, and cowboy. He was working as foreman at Walker Feedlot in Lewisville at the time of his death.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. He served as Secretary of the National Cutter Association and director of the Jefferson County Jr. Posse. He rode with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse for many years. He enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved horses, cattle, and rodeo, both as a rider and pickup man. He was a true all around cowboy.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2001, at the Milo LDS 2nd Ward, 12127 North 75 East, with Bishop Kenneth Stucki officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and for one hour prior to the services, both at the church in Milo.
Burial will be in Milo Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
