Debra Hopper

Debra Ruth Hopper, 56, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 23, 2016, at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot.

Debra was born November 1, 1959, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Frank Thomas Leming and Gladys Faye McKenzie Leming. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School. She also attended Regis Cosmetology School in Tucson, Arizona.

On March 26, 1994, she married Steven Patrick Hopper in Tucson, Arizona. Debra and Steven made their home in Tucson, Arizona where Debra worked as a Bus Driver for Tucson Unified School District for 19 years.

She was a member of 4-H, Future Farmers of America and participated and led in the ROTC.

Debra is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Steven Hopper of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Fay Lynn Baxter Stewart of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Robert Baxter of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Barbara Ann Pietrovich of Tucson, AZ; brother, Randy Walton of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Harland S. Walton, Jr. of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Gladys Faye Walton of Idaho Falls, ID; and 6 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Thomas Leming and her grandparents, Lallis and Joseph McKenzie.

A gathering will be held at from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue.
