Deborah Lynn (Warren) Holden

Deborah Lynn Holden, age 54, of Idaho Falls, ID, passed away peacefully at her home on October 16, 2023, surrounded by her loving family and under the compassionate care of Brio Home Health and Hospice.

Debbie was born on February 7, 1969, in Fresno, California, to her parents, Philip L Warren and Necia Crump Warren Evans. She spent her early years in Fresno, California, and Hermiston, Oregon, where she graduated from Hermiston High School.

On May 6, 1990, she married the love of her life, Michael John Holden, in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hermiston, Oregon. Together, they created a home in Hermiston, Oregon, and Jamestown, North Dakota, before eventually settling in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Debbie dedicated her time and passion to teaching as a Pre-kindergarten Teacher at Washington Elementary and the Y.M.C.A in North Dakota and in Idaho Falls. She was a cherished member of The First Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she actively participated in the choir performing at Carnegie Hall while battling cancer under tutelage of Penny Dixon. She also loved working with Happy Stitcher's group at FELC. Debbie was also known for her unwavering support of Champs Heart, where she volunteered and advocated for their cause.

Deborah had a zest for life with her beautiful and contagious smile that she extended to various interests. She enjoyed golfing, horticulture, travel, interior decorating, painting, singing, and cherished moments spent with her family and friends. Her strength and courage in battling cancer was an inspiration to all. She shared her journey with the world to help find targeted treatments for others in their time of need. She was blessed with many Angels in the Idaho Falls medical community that cared for her, and now she has found peace, free from pain, as she becomes an Angel herself.

Deborah is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Michael John Holden of Idaho Falls, ID; her daughter, Brianna (Dale Sirratt) Holden of Idaho Falls, ID; her son, Damon Matthew (Sara) Holden of Boise, ID; her brother, Michael Warren of Hermiston, OR; her mother, Necia Evans of Idaho Falls, ID; and her pride and joy, Grandbaby Banyan Jack Holden.

She was preceded in death by her fathers, Philip L Warren and Jack Evans.
