Ellis Dean Ingram, 102, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away September 20, 2017, at Brookdale Green Mountain Care Center in Lakewood.
Dean was born December 5, 1914, in Sugar City, Idaho, to Joseph Albert Ingram and Mary Roselpha . Johnson Ingram. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from O.E. Bell Jr. High.
On April 14, 1934, he married Maida Vena Ellis in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Dean worked as a pressman for the Post Register in Idaho Falls and later the Idaho Statesman in Boise.
He enjoyed square dancing, long daily walks, TV sports, and a card game he called "NIL."
He is survived by his son, Darian Ingram of Denver, CO, and a niece, Carol Rae Dennett. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Wood East Side. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
