Dawn Buttars Todd, 54, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 5, 2017, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Dawn was born September 24, 1962, in Logan, Utah, to Charles William Buttars and Donna Hulet Buttars. She grew up on the family farm in Weston, Idaho, and graduated from West Side High School. She also attended Ricks College and Utah State University.
On June 15, 1984, she married David Glen Todd in Weston, Idaho. To this union were born three children, Matthew David, Ashley Dawn, and Kellen Charles. Dawn and David made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Dawn worked as a general agent for Horizon Airlines for 30 Years.
She was a member of Watersprings Church. She loved to plant flowers and do scrapbooks. She was a clean freak. But most of all she loved family time, and being with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Dawn is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, David Todd of Idaho Falls, ID; stepson, Dallas (Angie) Lundquist of South Jordan, UT; son, Matthew David (Lindsay) Todd of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Ashley Dawn (Kyle) Tate of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Kellen Charles Todd of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Donna H. Buttars of Idaho Falls, ID; three grandchildren, Gabriel, Remi, Kanyon; sister, Sonya (Steve) Ames of Centerville, UT; brother, Craig (Kay) Buttars of Malad, ID; brother, Berk (Carlie) Buttars of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Rex (Debi) Buttars of Idaho Falls, ID.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles William Buttars.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home, 963 South Ammon Road, with Bishop Berk Buttars officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services, both times at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Weston Cemetery, in Weston, Idaho, at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. A luncheon will be served at the Weston Church following the interment.
