DAVID M. VELOFF IDAHO FALLS, ID - David M. Velloff, 40, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died November 24, 2003, at his home in Idaho Falls from complications of diabetes. He was born October 13, 1963, in Alton, Illinois, to Marion S. Velloff and Anita (Horn) Velloff. He lived in Alton for 24 years, graduated from Marquette High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He lived and worked in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Chicago, Illinois, and has lived in Idaho Falls four years where he was a Senior Operator for Bechtel at the INEEL. He attended S.S. Peter and Paul Church in Alton, Illinois. He was an expert chess player and also enjoyed playing bridge. Surviving are: Parents: Marion S. and Anita Velloff, Alton, IL Brother: Steve M. (Constance) Velloff, Chicago, IL Sister: Julie (Gary) Brown, Godfrey, IL Sister: Nancy (Jose') Elizondo, Idaho Falls, ID and Nieces and Nephews, Marie, Benjamin and Samuel Brown, and Adam and Sarah Elizondo. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marion S. and Agnes Velloff, Nelson and Marie Horn, and an aunt, Lucia Horn. The family will visit with friends from 6 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 28, 2003, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 1111 S. Orchard Street, Suite #234, Boise, ID, 83705. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 2, at the S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, in Alton, Illinois. The family will visit with friends on Monday, December 1, from 4-8:00 p.m. at Gent Funeral Home in Alton, Illinois. A Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. with Father Roger Schoenhofen presiding. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Godfrey, Illinois. Local arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N.
