Click Here To View Memorial Video David Charles Thalgott, 58, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away January 13, 2014, at his home in Monett, Missouri, following an illness. He was born September 23, 1955, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Fred William Thalgott and Joan Knudson Thalgott. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Skyline High School. Following graduation he attended University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree. He lived in Ogden, Utah, and Seattle, Washington, where he worked in the financial industry. In 2001, he moved to Monett, Missouri, where he was employed as a Technical Business Analyst with Jack Henry & Associates. David was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. He was a devoted fan of the Seattle Seahawks. He also loved auto racing and attended several Grand Prix races. Survivors are: Sister: Kathleen Cope of Lincoln City, Oregon, Sister: Judith (Scott) McNally of Winchester, Kentucky Brother: James (Sheila) Thalgott of Blackfoot, Idaho and nine nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Susan Oswald; and a brother, Bill Thalgott. Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, with Deacon Wence Rodriguez, of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
