David Mann Sweeney

David Mann Sweeney II, 72, of Ammon, passed away February 3, 2021, at his home.

Dave was born October 21, 1948, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to David Mann Sweeney Sr. and Kathleen A. Keener. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.

He married Vickey Ayers in Idaho Falls.  They were later divorced, and later he married Sherill Oswald. They were also later divorced. Dave made his home in Ammon, Idaho, where he worked as a produce manager for Safeway Foods and Smiths Food King.

He was a member of the Catholic Church. He was known for putting himself into his work his entire life. That is what he could always be found doing.

Dave is survived by his, daughter, Kristine (Bradley) Timmons of The Dalles, OR; son, Shaun (Cozette) Sweeney of Idaho Falls; son, Jeff (Andy) Sweeney of Ammon, ID; sister, Kathleen Hayden of Boise, ID, sister, Maurene (Bob) Syring; and 7 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Sweeney Sr. and mother, Kathleen Sweeney, and his sister, Patricia Sweeney.
