DAVID SHIRTS Click here to view David's Video Tribute IDAHO FALLS, ID -- David Boyd Shirts, 53, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 21, 2009, from injuries received in an automobile accident. David was born March 16, 1956 at Hailey, Idaho, to Boyd R. Shirts and Myrna Downard Shirts and was the third of five children. He attended schools in Idaho Falls. He joined the U.S. Army and served for a few years and received an honorable discharge. He worked as a maintenance engineer for Shippen Properties. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include: Parents: Boyd & Myrna Shirts, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Larry (Penney) Shirts, Provo, UT Brother: Owen (Jenni) Shirts, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Kerry (Charlotte) Shirts, Idaho Falls, ID 20 Nieces and Nephews He was preceded in death by his youngest brother, Jerel Jon Shirts. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at the Idaho Falls LDS Rose Park Ward, 351 West 14th Street, with Bishop Scott Smith officiating. Veteran’s Rites will be provided by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and the Idaho Honor Guard. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to services at the church.
