David Alan Neubacher

David Alan Neubacher, 57, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 2, 2021, at his home. He was under the care of his loving family and Hands of Hope Hospice.

David was born December 30, 1963, in Brigham City, Utah, to Ronald William Neubacher and Barbara Joyce Cemer Neubacher. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1982. After high school, David joined the US Air Force and earned the ranking of Staff Sargent.

On May 21, 1983, married Barbara Beth Spears in Idaho Falls, Idaho. David and Beth made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where David worked as a police officer for Idaho State Police and Bingham County Sheriffs Department. He served for over 25 years on the police force, prior to his retirement.

David was a member of The Rock Church in Pocatello, Idaho. He was an accomplished martial artist and earned multiple black belts. David was a true outdoors man and found happiness being in nature fishing.

David is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Barbara Beth Neubacher of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Jordan Lee (Brook) Morgan of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Joel Michael (Allison) Neubacher of Idaho Falls, ID, sister, Cheryl Lynne (Randy) Baitcher of Canton, GA; parents, Ronald and Joyce Neubacher of Saint George, UT; and 7 grandchildren.
