MOSS OGDEN, UT -- David Williams (Albon) Moss, 56, of Ogden, Utah, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away January 8, 2002, at his home of cancer. He was under hospice care. He was born October 27, 1945, in Ogden, Utah, to Carl Anderson Arbon and Dorothy Williams Lane Arbon. Carl and Dorothy later divorced. Dorothy later married Clifford V. Moss and they settled in Idaho Falls, where Cliff adopted David. David grew up in Idaho Falls. He attended both Idaho Falls and Bonneville High Schools and later went on to Ricks College. He married Kaye Barnes in November of 1966. This marriage was blessed with three daughters, Stephanie, Jennifer and Rebecca. They made their home in Idaho Falls and Rexburg until their divorce. He started his long career in the grocery business at the age of 16 working for Albertson's and continued with them until he became Assistant Manager of Smith's. He then went on to own two grocery stores as well as several gas stations in both Rexburg and Ashton. In the mid eighties, he moved to Wells, Nevada where he had a Clover Club Potato Chip and Nut franchise from Wendover to Winnemucca. In 1997 he moved to Ogden, where he was the Assistant Manager of Gorman's IGA until health forced him to leave in September 2000. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In his spare time he loved to fish and work on his many vehicles. He was a very kind person and will be missed by many. Survivors include his three daughters, Stephanie (John) Brody, Jennifer (Jim) Blair, and Becky (Jared) Finn and three garndchildren all of Idaho Falls, and a half brother, Arthur Williams Lane of Ogden, Utah.
