David Lott

David Frank Lott, 56, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 12, 2017, at his home. He was under the care of Grand Teton Service Group, Encompass Home Health and his loving family. David was born March 16, 1961, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Jack Lott and Kathleen Stanger Lott. He grew up and attended schools in Ammon and Iona and attended Bonneville High School where he helped manage the football team. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. David participated in the Special Olympics and enjoyed working at Walmart and Smith's. He loved to bowl and to go to the movies. He was a kind and gentle spirit who considered everyone his friend. David is survived by his father, Jack Lott of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, John (Lisabeth) Lott of Iona, ID; sister, Cheryl (Raymond) Noble of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Kathy Stewart of Colville, WA; and 7 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Lott; sister, Lori Lott; and his grandparents, Frank and Geneva Stanger and Taylor and Mary Lott. The family would like to thank the Grand Teton Service Group, VanWagnor Consulting and Encompass Home Health and Hospice for their love and support that was given to David. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the Mountain View LDS Ward, 1450 Mountain View Lane with Bishop Randy Wheeler officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior at the church. Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery.
