David Morrison Johnson, 77, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 12, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Dave was born October 30, 1937, in Boise, Idaho, to Robert Calvin Johnson and Maxine Elliott Miller Johnson. He grew up and attended schools in Osborn and Mullen, Idaho, and graduated from Mullen High School. He also attended Walla Walla College, and Idaho State University. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
On November 19, 1956, he married Mavis Elaine Wagner in Boise, Idaho. To this union were born five children, Paul, Kathleen, Timothy, Karol, and Mark. Dave and Elaine made their home in Idaho Falls for more than 30 years. They were later divorced. Dave worked as a carpenter for 20 years.
He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and served as a minister for 23 years. He enjoyed being a pilot and playing golf.

daughter, Kathleen M. (Kevin) Walker of Renton, WA;
son, Timothy R. Johnson of Star, ID;
daughter, Karol R. (Dale) Rollins of Snellville, GA;
son, Mark E. (Rae) Johnson of Columbia, TN;
ex-wife, Elaine Johnson of Idaho Falls, ID;
brother, Dohn Johnson of Phoenix, AZ.
14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Paul David Johnson, father, Robert Calvin Johnson, and mother, Maxine Elliott Johnson.
Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at the Idaho Falls Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 800 Westhill Avenue, with Pastor Dean Lifshay officiating. The family will visit with friends from 2-2:45 p.m. prior.
