David Bruce Danner, 56, long-time resident of Idaho Falls, passed away February 14, 2017, at his home. Dave was born March 16, 1960, in Peoria, Illinois, to Richard and Patricia Barnsley Danner. Dave was a truck driver for Doug Andrus Distributing for nine years. He was a trainer for six of those years. Dave loved truck driving in the good weather, but he hated the winter. He participated in Careers on Wheels and loved teaching kids about the trucking industry. He was a veteran and served in The United States Army. Dave is survived by his sister, Doreen Carter of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Karron Danner of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Levi Danner of Idaho Falls, ID; three adopted children, Jason (Tiffaney) Rigby of Idaho Falls, ID; Brian (Latoya) Cleveland of Idaho Falls, ID; Aaron (Hillary) Cleveland, Chicago, IL; granddaughter, Khalee, and many other adopted grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, with Bishop Jonathan Whipple of the Idaho Falls LDS Rose Park Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Monday at Wood Funeral Home. Following the services, Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and the Idaho Honor Guard.
