David Leroy Broka

David Leroy Broka, 84, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 26, 2024, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls.

Dave was born May 29, 1939, in Beaverton, Michigan, to Harold Broka and Orrine Wagar Broka. He grew up and attended schools in Beaverton and graduated from Beaverton High School in 1957.

Dave served 23 years in the United States Air Force. He was a member of The Idaho Falls Rotary Club. He enjoyed the outdoors and woodworking.

Dave was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Christa Barbara Broka.

He is survived by his son, Thomas (Heather) Broka of Vail, AZ; son, Steven (Christa) Broka of Las Vegas, NV; brother, William “Bill” Broka of Beaverton, MI; brother, Charles “Mick” Broka of Hope, MI; brother, Harold “Dean” Broka of Beaverton, MI; 7 grandchildren, Haley Broka, Riley Broka, Steven Broka, Marc Broka, Jordyn Broka, Jake Broka, and Luke Broka.

He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Broka, and his parents, Harold and Orrine Broka.

Services will be held in Beaverton, Michigan, at a date yet to be determined.
