David Briggs

David Carlos Briggs, 36, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away May 23, 2013, at his home. On September 28, 1976, Dave was born to Don Briggs and Roxie Benson Briggs in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He moved with his family to Clearview, Washington, when he was three years old. He lived there for nineteen years before moving back to Idaho. He attended Monroe Middle School and Monroe High School. Dave married Bertha Jean Hines February 22, 2000, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He worked as a landscaper. Dave enjoyed fishing, camping, and being around his family. Dave is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Bertha; Son, Benjamin Briggs of Idaho Falls; Daughter, Daryan Briggs of Idaho Falls; Daughter, Mary Briggs of Idaho Falls; Mother, Roxie (Dale) Smith of Idaho Falls; Father, Don (Jeri) Briggs of Idaho Falls; Brother, Don Lee (Torri) Briggs of Idaho Falls; Sister, Shere Miller of Idaho Falls; Sister, Shannon Smith of American Falls; Sister, Quintina Smith of Idaho Falls; Grandmother, Irene Blair of Boise; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lois and Don C. Briggs and Ken Blair, and two uncles, Hank Derka and Thomas Briggs.
