David Byron Borg, 69, of Ammon, passed away March 17, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Dave was born March 9, 1949, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the fifth child to Jonas Berger Borg and Virginia Adelia Jenkins. He served an LDS mission to the North Central State Mission. After graduation from Boise State University, Dave and Regina made their home in Ammon, Idaho. They were blessed with two children, David William and Christina "Tina" Marie. Dave was a devoted member of the LDS faith, diligently serving wherever called. He received great joy serving as a temple ordinance worker the last years of his life. Dave loved hunting, fishing, and a good western movie. The Borg family cabin at Palisades was a favorite spot to vacation and host scout outings. He took great pride in his grandchildren, babysitting them and attending their sports and school activities. Dave lost his wife, Regina, on February 1, 2011. He found love again and was sealed to LaVona Young in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on August 12, 2011.
