David Frank Morse, 84, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 31, 2017, at his home. He was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice. Dave was born January 9, 1933, in Flint, Michigan, to Frank Morse and Betty Knox Morse. He grew up and attended schools in Flint and Morenci and graduated from Morenci High School. He served as a Private First Class in the United States Army. On August 14, 1954, he married Beverly Joy Smith in Adrian, Michigan. To this union were born two sons, Steven and Matt. Dave and Beverly made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Dave worked as an insurance salesman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his boys. He loved to read and spend time with his boys and his granddaughter, Jessica. Dave is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Beverly Morse of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Steven (Nancy) Morse of Twisp, WA; son, Matt (Angie) Morse of Idaho Falls, ID; granddaughter, Jessica (Adam) Rhoades of Idaho Falls, ID; great-grandson, Matt Rhoades of Idaho Falls, ID; great-granddaughter, Trinity Rhoades of Idaho Falls, ID; and sister, Beverly Clements of Adrian, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joyce Packard. Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
