Darren Dale Hult, 49, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 30, 2017, at Teton Post Acute Care & Rehabilitation following a lingering illness.
Darren was born November 20, 1967, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Ronald Dale Hult and Judy Marie Hansen Hult. He grew up and attended schools in the area and graduated from Skyline High School. He was a talented artist and won the Helen Auperle Award for Art during high school. He also attended Idaho State University.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In addition to art, Darren enjoyed computer programming, guitar, karate, and magic.
Darren is survived by his parents Ron and Judy Hult of Idaho Falls, ID; and sister, Shauna (John) Winkler of Kenewick, WA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, A.W. (Bill) and Doris Hult; grandparents, Robert and Lila Hansen; and brother-in-law, Kirk Hansen.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at the Idaho Falls LDS Westhill Ward (2040 Brentwood Drive) with Bishop Troy Bodily officiating. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 12-12:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Shelley-Hillcrest Cemetery.
