Darrell Smith

Darrell E. Smith, born on September 21, 1946, passed away December 19, 2015, after a battle with cancer.

Darrell was raised by his grandparents, Levi and Inza Barzee of Ammon, Idaho. He spent his entire life in Bone, Idaho, at his family ranch and the ranch meant the world to him.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his friends and family. Darrell’s grandchildren were the light of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joyce; daughter, Angela; son, Travis, all of Idaho Falls, Idaho; grandchildren, Robert, Justin, and Jessica of Idaho Falls, and Allen Malloy of Montana; three great grandchildren, Alyson, Cameran, and Kaileigh, all of Idaho Falls; seven step-siblings, and his mother, all scattered across the country.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristy; granddaughter, Lindsey; and stepfather, Harold Smith.

A gathering will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2015, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue.
