Darrell Kent Simpson

Darrell Kent Simpson, 64, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 9, 2022, at his home, after a long illness. Darrell was born January 17, 1957, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Boyd McCormack Simpson and Alva Jean Satterfield Simpson. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He enjoyed growing up with his siblings and he was loved and adored his mother. Darrell is survived by his loving girlfriend, Alisha V Halford, of Idaho Falls, Idaho. They have spent 17 years together and have been loved by two dogs. He is also survived by his two sons, Kent (Sipola) Simpson, and Tim (Andrea) Simpson, both of Utah; and four grandsons and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Brent Pellum, Gary Simpson, and Boyd “Bud” Simpson; and his two sisters, Peggy Simpson and Marilyn Simpson.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Idaho Falls Riverside Ward, 955 Memorial Drive, in Idaho Falls.

A second celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Cornerstone Assembly of God, 5600 S. Holmes Avenue in Idaho Falls.
