Darrell Carlson

Darrell L. Carlson, 72, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away April 11, 2013, at Pinewood Assisted Living of natural causes. He was under the care of Solace Hospice. Darrel was born July 23, 1940 in Bellingham, Washington, to Kenneth Carlson and Beatrice Tresner Carlson. He graduated from Enterprise High School. After high school, Darrell served in the Army. He married Marilyn Lorraine Allen on September 30, 1961 in Fort Lewis, Washington. They had three children, Dion, Darren, and Jason. Darrell lived in Redding, California for thirty-five years and in Boise, Idaho for twenty years. Darrell worked in auto sales. Darrell enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, the outdoors, and watching football. Darrell is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Marilyn of Ammon, ID; Son, Dion Carlson of Salmon, ID; Son, Darren Carlson of Hamilton, MT; Son, Jason Carlson of San Diego, CA; Grandchildren, Danner Carlson, Clayton Carlson, and Caitlyn Carlson; Brother, Steve Carlson; and a special thanks to his three favorite girls, Carly, Stacy, and Misty. He was preceded in death by his parents. Private family services will be held at a later date.
