You have always meant so much to me. Be strong. Love you, Debbie Paul and Shirley Nolan snolang-219@sbcglobal.net Pam and Family, We were deeply saddened upon learning of Alan's passing. I particularly enjoyed working with Alan when our careers were just starting to blossom at UOP. Though it has been many years since we were last in touch, it is evident in the condolences sent before this one that he shared with all who knew him, personal and professional alike, his knowledge, sense of humor, and drive to put forth his best effort in every regard. Shirley and I treasure the memories and share your sadness. Sincerely, Shirley and Paul Nolan Joseph Treshler JRover3500@yahoo.com I had the pleasure of working closely with Al back in the late 70's/early 80's while at UOP. He always had a one liner to make my day. Never could get him to admit there were other fine places one could be from other than Colorado. (Even though it looks like he ended up living most of his life out of the state . . . must have been a classic case of "Colorado state of mind.") I always appreciated him and always will miss him. Randy and Helen Wright rbw7@cableone.net We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to your family for the passing of Alan. I, Randy, worked with Alan at the INL for a number of years and always enjoyed his friendship and sense of humor. After our retirements, I always looked forward to meeting with him and David Glenn for coffee to discuss the old and new times. I will miss him greatly. kentelschow@gmail.com Dear Pam, Diane and I were very sorry to hear about Alan through our friends Roger and Leslie Piscatella. I retired from the INL in 2007 and we then moved to the Seattle area to be nearer to our son Marty and his family. Both Marty and I remember well many camping trips we had with Alan and Jeremy. In fact, Marty began in the older cub scouts with Alan when we first moved to Idaho Falls and then we continued on through boy scouts together. We have many happy memories. Most of all, I think of Alan's devotion to these endeavors. Many times I counted on him to help me get through the "scounting" experience with Marty. I hope I was of some comfort and support for him also with Jeremy. Alan was a good friend. Since moving to Seattle, I have become involved in a lot of home projects with many trips to the hardware store. I would have liked very much to have met Alan there. I hope he enjoyed his work at Rocknacks. You and your whole family are very much in our thoughts. Ken & Diane Telschow 21324 4th Ave. S Des Moines, WA 98198 Martin Michael Plum plumzter@yahoo.com I am sorry that this is so late, but I was on vacation during the time of Alan's passing. I am so sorry for many reasons, but I enjoyed working Alan years ago at INL. He taught me a lot about a lot of other thangs than chemistry. He always had time for me. An d he carried this same spirit over to Rocknaks. Again, I am so sorry for this this. Alan was a great guy and will be missed in more ways than we can imagine.
