Darold McKenzie - 04/29/2002 Darold McKenzie - 04/29/2002 DAROLD R. MCKENZIE IDAHO FALLS, ID: Darold Raymond McKenzie, 55, of Idaho Falls, died April 26, 2002, at his home from natural causes. He was born June 22, 1946 in Idaho Falls, to William Leslie McKenzie and Edith Mary Manning McKenzie. At 6 months of age, the family moved to Arco where his father farmed and worked. He attended Butte High School. At age 19, he joined the Army and where he served three tours in Vietnam. His last tour was in Germany where he was injured. He moved back to Idaho Falls and has resided here since. He never married He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was also a member of the Eagles Lodge and of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed walking around his neighborhoods and visiting with people. Surviving are:Brother: Richard McKenzie, Idaho Falls, IDBrother: William A. McKenzie, Cambridge, IDBrother: E. Wayne McKenzie, Moore, IDSister: Diane Allen, Las Cruces, NMSister: Jeri Brazel, Prairieville, LASister: Marie Fouts, Redondo Beach, CASister: Jean Harshbarger, Weiser, IDSister: Ann Ronsheimer, Slidell, LAHe was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lynn. The family will visit with friends at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at Wood Funeral Home where veterans rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team. Burial will be in the Arco Cemetery at a later date. To Darold's family, we are sorry for your loss. We knew him from the Eagles Lodge. We would see him often in the lodge, he always made it a point to say hello.
