DARLENE J. MILES
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Darlene Jenkins Miles, 64, of Blackfoot,
died December 28, 2004, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born July 31, 1940, in Bancroft to Delbert John
Jenkins and Winona May Scott Jenkins. She grew up in Southeast Idaho and
attended both Bonneville High School and Aberdeen High School.
On September 18, 1961, she married Leo Ray Miles in the Logan LDS Temple.
She and her husband owned Miles Heating and Air Conditioning. She was
a member of the Homemakers Club and an officer in the Daughters of the
Utah Pioneers.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, she served in various positions including Young Women's President,
Relief Society President, and Ward Chorister. She enjoyed sewing, reading,
singing, music, family history, and computers. Darlene especially loved
being with her children and grandchildren.

Brother: Leon Jenkins, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Jeanette Jenkins, Firth, ID
Sister: Gloria Mitchener, Pingree, ID
13 Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert; her husband, Leo; and
a daughter, Suzette.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, January
3, 2005, at the Blackfoot LDS 1st Ward (187 North Ash), with Clark Polatis,
a counselor in the Blackfoot 1st Ward Bishopric, officiating.
The family will meet with friends on Sunday from 7-8:30
p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Monday, both at the Blackfoot
LDS 1st Ward (187 North Ash).
Burial will be in Riverside-Thomas Cemetery under the
direction of Wood Funeral Home East Side.
