DARLENE KRANTZ
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Darlene Krantz, 85, passed away April 11, 2006, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
She was born October 12, 1920, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to May Margetts and Harry Ostler, the youngest of six children. She attended public schools in Salt Lake City, including the University of Utah.
She married Leland K. Krantz in 1943, and moved to Idaho Falls in 1949. She was very active and held all offices in the Idaho Falls Medical Auxiliary while her husband, Dr. Leland Krantz, practiced medicine with the Idaho Falls Clinic. She worked for the Red Cross for many years and was a member of the Idaho Falls Choralaires for six years. She sponsored the “BZ Phi” business sorority for two years and also was an avid golfer and bowler.
Darlene was a wonderful wife and mother. Her children love and honor her and spent many hours taking care of her with tender loving kindness. Her legacy will be her sense of humor which never faded.

Daughter: Laura May (Howard) Parshall of Bremerton, WA
15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren
Graveside Services will be held for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Humane Society.
Services are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
