DARELD NELSON IDAHO FALLS, ID - Dareld Eugene Nelson, 76, of Idaho Falls, died July 1, 2005 at Life Care Center. He was born November 2, 1928, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Daniel Edmond Nelson and Iola Pearl Rhoades Nelson. He attended schools at Eastside and O. E. Bell in Idaho Falls, then spent two and a half years in Vancouver, Washington, attending Electrical trade school. He married Melba Jewell Littleford October 21, 1975, in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple June 3, 1978. She preceded him in death October 6, 2003. He was an electrician for the City of Idaho Falls for 45 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a member of the Eagles Lodge for two years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working on radios and anything electrical. Survivors include: Son: Dareld Eugene (Michelle) Nelson, Jr. of Idaho Falls Son: Rick (Lou) David of Idaho Falls, ID Son: Dan (LouAnna) David of Scottsdale, AZ Son: Mike David of Idaho Falls, ID Son: Tim (Tawna) David of Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Peggy (Darrell) Hill of Pocatello, ID Son: Steve (Debbie) Nelson of Idaho Falls Daughter: Judy (Jeff) Buky of Taylorsville, UT Brother: Marvin (Donna) Nelson of Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Dan (Barbara) Nelson of Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Della Harmon of Pocatello, ID Sister: Nita Case 21 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three sisters, Berniece, Danna “Donna”, and Iola, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at the Idaho Falls LDS 22nd Ward, 1235 Juniper Drive, with Bishop Dan Perkins officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and Wednesday for one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
