I was one of his Supervisors at work, and feel so lucky to have had the pleasure of working with him. He learned his job so quickly and became someone I could easily depend upon. I was just getting to know his lovely sense of humor -- something I highly value in people. I hope knowing that he made a significant contribution to his 'work family' will ease your pain at this time. Katy Touchette Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss. We will miss Danny so much. I'll see you on Monday for sure. Katy Chuck Wood wcowelk1@msn.com To Kathy and Danny's Family, May God help you through these times. I was very saddened to hear of his passing; I have a lot of memories from the Sheriff Dept. and playing Ball. You have our deepest Sympathy. Chuck & Michelle Wood Donna Long To Kathy and your daughter: Shana just told me about Danny. I just wanted to tell you how very sorry I am for your loss. My husband died unexpectedly last summer at the age of 56. It was absolutely devastating for me, our kids, and the rest of the family. I know how difficult it can be. May God bless you and your family through this time. Donna Mike Dickson bonn371@hotmail.com I worked with Danny at the Sheriffs office. He and I were on patrol together. We were known as the "wide bodies." He taught me a lot about being a cop; many of those things I carry with me today. I know his love for golf and he taught me how to make my swing better, which I have passed on to my son. I had talked to him on Saturday at Home Depot. It was good to see him again. We talked liked we hadn't missed a day. I owe a lot to Danny for what and who I am today. I will miss him. He was a good man. My deepest sympathy. Eric Boyle taldyrath@hotmail.com I had the great honor of working with Danny at Melaleuca for the last 13 years. I learned a great deal from my friend and mentor. Shawn Orgill orgillball@q.com Kathy, I am so sorry to hear this news. Both you and Danny are such wonderful individuals. God be with you and your family. Ashley Touchette adtouchette11@hotmail.com Aunt Kathy, I am very sorry for the loss of uncle Danny. Uncle Danny was a good man. He was the only person who taught me how to swing a golf club and play golf. When someone tries to tell me how to swing a club, I simply tell them, "No, my uncle taught me." You and the Touchette family will be in my prayers. Love, Ashley Touchette Crystal Touchette pctouch@yahoo.com The kids and I were very saddened to hear the news about Danny. We have very fond memories of the times we were able to make it back to Idaho. I just spoke to Danny earlier in the week about the books he was reading and how passionate he was about those books. Paul has been notified in Iraq and is greatly saddened that he can't make it back in time for the service. I know he admired his older brother. Had planned on trying to come to the church today but I fell on my way into work this morning and have now changed my mind. Know that I’m thinking of you. I always had so much respect and admiration for him. I can only imagine how difficult this time must be for you. My heart and my prayers are with you. Dan McCartney dmccartney@overlandwest.com I couldn't believe it when I heard. I didn't know him for very long, met him in July when he was in buying a truck for himself and a car for Kamika, but the time that I knew him, he was a great guy who cared for his family and from the sounds of it, just enjoyed life as a whole. I am sorry for your loss.
