Danny Moss

Danny Cloyd Moss, 71, formerly of Ririe and Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away February 2, 2016, at the home of his daughter, Melissa Bitton, in Kalama, Washington, of natural causes.

Danny was born October 7, 1944, in Mountain Home, Idaho, to Cloyd Ralph Moss and Edwina Mae Whelan Moss. He grew up and attended schools in Ririe. In his twenties he served a full-time service mission in California for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

On July 9, 1976, he married Bonnie Lee Roberts in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home in Ririe for several years, where they welcomed their three children, Tim, Melissa, and Jason. They moved to Idaho Falls in 1990. Danny worked as a custodian. Bonnie passed away in an automobile accident October 21, 2006.

Danny was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved his family above all else and worked hard his whole life to care for them. He enjoyed spending time with his extended family and visiting with folks. Survivors include:

Daughter, Melissa (Jacob) Bitton of Kalama, WA; Son, Jason (Rebecca) Moss of Moorcroft, WY; Sister, Darlene (Dimon) McFerson of UT; Sister, Sherry (Kent) Goodson Stepmother, Phyllis Moss of Rigby, ID; Mother-In-Law, Norma (Merlin, deceased) Roberts of St. George, UT;

11 Grandchildren: Alexis, Dominic, and Theda Moss; Stella and Evie Bitton; and Landon, Bryant, Luke, Blake, Isaiah, and Carter Moss. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; his parents, Cloyd and Edwina Moss; and a brother, Gregory Moss. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 14th, and from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Monday, February 15th, both at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Wilford Cemetery.
