Daniel Owen Marron, 83, of Idaho Falls, passed away on October 22, 2011, at his home.
He was born December 19, 1927, in Springfield, Minnesota to Owen Marron and Gertrude Engelen Marron. He grew up in Springfield, attended St. Raphael Elementary, and moved to Redwood Falls where he graduated from high school. He continued his education at the University of Minnesota in Duluth where he received a Bachelor’s Degree. He later received his Master’s Degree from Laverne University in California. He served during World War II in the U.S. Army, and was stationed in Germany where he received the rank of Sargent.
On June 10, 1950, he married Vivian Ruth Robinson in Duluth, Minnesota. She preceded him in death on February 11, 2007.
Dan worked as a Teacher and School Counselor until his retirement in 1989. Six years ago, he moved to Idaho Falls. He enjoyed golfing, sailing, woodcarving, and was a talented artist. He and his wife, Vivian, traveled extensively throughout the United States with the Airstream Group.

Son: Richard Marron, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Virginia Whitty, Reedsburg, Wisconsin
Grandchildren: Brian and Nicole Heath, and 7 others not living in this area.
He was preceded in death by his wife; 2 brothers, Cliff and Bobby; and 1 sister, Joyce.
