IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Daniel Isaac Albertson, 79, of Osgood, passed away March 1, 2008, at his home with his family gathered around him. He was under the tender care of his loving wife assisted by Aspen Home Health and Hospice.
He was born April 23, 1928, in Osgood, Idaho, to Francis Annis Albertson and Margaret Elizabeth Robinson Albertson. He attended schools in Osgood, Ammon and Idaho Falls.
He married Ora Idonna Landon July 8, 1945, in Osgood, Idaho. They made their home in Osgood, where they raised their six children on the family farm.
He was a member of the State Guard, Elk's Lodge, and National Farmers Organization.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Elders Quorum, High Priest's Quorum, as Secretary in the Young Men's Organization and in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Dan loved farming, which was his lifelong occupation. Whenever he got the chance, you would find him with a fishing pole in hand and his wife alongside him. He spent many weekends camping with family and friends. Those were the times of great fun. There would be old time stories, jokes, and a lot of laughter. In the beginning, these moments were shared with Dan and Ora's brothers, sisters, and friends. They were soon joined by their children, grandchildren, and even great grandchildren. His many stories will go on and on. Dan will be missed but never forgotten.

I just wanted to write a quick note to thank you for allowing me to take part in assisting your husband with his health. His wry smile and humor made my day. I could not attend your viewing this evening due to hospital schedules and other patients, but at least wanted to convey my condolences and prayers. God bless you at this time.
