Dana Abbott

DANA ABBOTT IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Dana Lynn Abbott, 51, of Idaho Falls, died August 22, 2008, at her home. She was born March 2, 1957, in Champaign, Illinois, to Thomas Edwin Thompson and Dora May Crandell Thompson. She was a graduate of Santa Rosa High School in California. She married Mike Abbott on October 12, 1974, in Santa Rosa, California. He preceded her in death on May 27, 2004. She worked as a secretary at EastSide Veterinary Clinic. She was a member of the pool league. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycles, animals, and music. Survivors include: Brother: Bruce Thompson, Orinda, CA Brother: Dennis Comelly, FL Brother: Mark Connelly, PA She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 28, 2008, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Thursday for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. As time went by we all went our own ways, but remained good friends. It was a shock when I got the news about Mike and as shocked to hear about Dana. They loved each other dearly and are together again. May you both rest in peace. You both are already missed by many.
