Click Here To View Memorial Video Damian Calzadias, 23, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014, in North Dakota due to a drowning accident. He was born on September 18, 1990, in Chihuahua, Mexico to Alonso Calzadias and Silvia Chavez Calzadias. The family moved to Dubois when he was 2 years old. He attended Clark County High School. He moved to Idaho Falls when he was 17 years old and had lived in Crosby, North Dakota for the past 3 years. Damian worked in the construction industry. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed low rider cars, collecting cars and loved his children. He was always happy, always smiling, and giggled about everything. The one thing he was very good at was making anyone smile even on their worse day. He was spontaneous and adventurous and loved to go driving around town. He also loved scaring people. Survivors are: Parents: Alonso and Silvia Calzadias, Dubois, ID Soul Mate: Brandi Smithies-Rodriguez, Crosby, ND Daughter: Angelina Marie Calzadias, Crosby, ND Son: Cody Emmanuel Calzadias, Crosby, ND and one on the way Brother: Alex Calzadias, St. Anthony, ID Sister: Angelica Calzadias (Fernando) Ruiz, Dubois, ID Sister: Guadalupe Calzadias, Dubois, ID He was preceded in death by his grandparents. A Funeral Mass will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) with Father Jose Ramirez officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the Mass at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dubois Cemetery on Saturday, May 24, 2014.
