Dale Wulf

Dale Herman Wulf, 68, of Idaho Falls, passed September 23, 2011, at his home after losing his battle of 58 years to cancer. He was under the care of Alliance Hospice. Dale was born March 13, 1943, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Richard Herman Wulf and Freida Hannah Harding Wulf. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. He also earned his Associates Degree from Eastern Idaho Technical College. On October 23, 1964, he married Janiel Jean Brower in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on September 7, 1974. They made their home in Island Park, Idaho Falls, and spent a short time in California. Dale worked as a repairman and cook at Pond’s Lodge in Island Park. Janiel passed away April 13, 2004. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served in several capacities in Family History and in other various callings throughout the years. Dale loved camping, hunting, fishing, gardening, family history, and snowmobiling. Dale is survived by a niece, Elissa (Shawn) Hayward-Chase of Idaho Falls, ID; their five children, Kaden, Kyeshia, Jurni, Keille, and Keidryn, six cousins, Blair (Carolyn) Harding, Shauna (Keith) McGary, Larry (Marilyn) Rutt, Annette (Steven) Saville, Arlene Murdock, Diann (Keith) Wilcox. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, his parents, Freida and Richard Wulf, his grandparents, Albert & Bertha Harding and Carl and Jannett Wulf, a niece, Karrie M. Drollinger-Bennett, his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and sister and brother-in-laws. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2011, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, Idaho Falls, Idaho, with President Robert Peterson of the Idaho Falls LDS Falls Brook Branch, officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m., both at Wood East Side. Burial will be next to Janiel in the Lincoln Cemetery.
