Dale Allen Smith, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 27, 2017, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Dale was born November 12, 1957, in Idaho Falls, ID, to George Frank Smith and Milldred Bessie Giles Smith. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and Washington. He also attended Eastern Idaho Technical College and obtained his ASE Certification. On October 1, 1980, he married Roxie Smith in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union were born five children, Don Lee, Shere, Shannon, David and Quintana. Dale and Roxie made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Dale worked as a tire technician for Fred and Wayne’s. He was a Baptist as well as a member of the Salvation Army. He enjoyed fishing, camping, going on drives, photography, mechanics and handy work, and spending time with his family. Dale is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Roxie Smith of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Don Lee (Torri) Briggs of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Shere Miller of Idaho Falls,ID, daughter, Shannon (John) Smith of American Falls, ID, daughter, Quintana (Thayne Killian) Smith of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Larry Smith of New York, NY; sister, Terri Smith of Washington and 25 grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David Briggs; a sister, Maureen Simpson; and a brother, Gary Smith.
