Dale Mason

Dale Elwin Mason, 78, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 30, 2017.

Dale was born December 4, 1938, in Chehalis, Washington, to Elmer Donald Mason and Myrtle Mae Moore Mason. The family moved to St. Anthony, Idaho where he graduated from South Fremont High School.

On September 23, 1960, he married Velma Rash in Parker, Idaho. They moved to Idaho Falls where they raised their two children, Zanetta and Rodney. Dale was a long time employee at the Idaho National Lab and retired in 1995.

As a young boy he was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had a life long love of reading, enjoyed traveling, and never missed an opportunity to share a good story with friends and family.

Dale is survived by wife, Velma R. Mason of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Zanetta Mason of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Rodney Mason of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Frank (Barbara) Mason of Chehalis, WA. 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald Mason; and a sister, Barbara Zanni.
