Dale Greenberg

Dale George Greenberg, 80, of Ammon, passed away August 13, 2017, at The Gables of Ammon. Dale was born February 19, 1937, in Denver, Colorado, to George Hiram Greenberg and Helen Meyer. He grew up and attended schools in Denver, South Dakota, California, and Scottsburg, Oregon, graduating from Reedsport High School in 1955. On April 24, 1962, he married Wanda Lou Fruehling in Reno, Nevada. They were blessed with two children, Darla and Chad. Dale and Wanda were later divorced. He made his home in Fresno, CA; San Jose, CA; Aloha, OR; Reno, NV; and Meford, OR and worked as an Air Traffic Controller for the FAA. He served in the United States Air Force as an Airman 2nd Class. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, driving, and going out to eat. Dale is survived by his daughter, Darla Jo (Lon) Pyper of Ammon, ID; son, Chad Dale Greenberg of White City, OR; brother, Gerald (Nellie) Terril of CA; sister, Janet Hook; and 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Julie Hook. No services will be held.
