Dale Ball

Dale Aaron Ball, 79, formerly of Shelley, passed away on May 29, 2012, at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello. He was born July 13, 1932, in Idaho Falls to Chancy Berry Ball and Myrtle Amanda Newman Ball. He grew up and attended schools in the area.. He served in the U.S. Navy. On April 9, 1955, he married Agnes Sharlene Hay in Idaho Falls. She preceded him in death on July 1, 2005. He worked as a truck driver. Dale was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and some hunting. Survivors are: Daughter: Dalene (Charles) Skalicky, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Jessie (Marvin) Fowler, Ogden, UT Son: Aaron (Randi) Ball, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Reed (Edwina) Ball, Arkansas Brother: Montie (Diane) Ball, Washington 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandsons He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a sister, Elaine Bragg. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 4, 2012, at the Annis-Little Butte Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 10-11:00 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) prior to leaving for the cemetery.
