Dell LaVon ”Connie” Storer, 85, formerly of the Idaho Falls area, passed away January 18, 2015, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Raul, in Layton, Utah. He was born August 2, 1929 in Idaho Falls to Dell Roy Storer and Margaret Van Sickle Storer. He attended schools in the Ririe area. LaVon married Edna V. Mann on November 12, 1947 and they had 6 children. He enjoyed telling people that he married “a Mann”. He worked as a truck driver during their married life. Edna passed away September 4, 2012. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. LaVon enjoyed yard work, gardening, camping, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by Daughter, Virginia (Gary ) McKay of Layton, UT; Daughter, Peggy (Dave) Rockwood of Rigby, ID; Son, Craig (Joy) Storer of Ucon, ID; Daughter, Vicki (Wade) Anderson of Rexburg, ID; Daughter, Kelly (Billy) McFarland of Brigham City, UT; Daughter, Margaret (Raul) Smout, Layton, UT; Brother, Brad Storer, Idaho Falls, ID Sister, Dorothy Hurley, Rigby, ID 14 Grandchildren and 40 great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna, Sister, Alice Adamson The family would like to thank Nurse Dee and aide Courtney of Summit Health Care for the loving care given to Dad. Graveside Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., both at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.

Funeral Services will be held

Saturday January 24, 2015 , 11:30 a.m. at Ririe-Shelton Cemetery

The family will visit friends on Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10-11:00 a.m., both at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon).
