CYRUS CLAY DURSTELER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Hello. My name is Cyrus Clay Dursteler. I was born June 11, 2008. I weighed 1 lb. 5 oz. and was 12 in. long. I got to hear a lot about my family and friends. I am proud to be a part of a family that consists of a loving mother; Corie J. Dursteler, a devoted father; Jesse C. Dursteler, and an awesome brother; Wesley B. Dursteler.
Other family members are my grandmother, Jeanne Davis; grandmother, Jill Dursteler; grandfather, Jerry Dursteler; Aunt Sherry Joseph and Uncle Scott Joseph; Uncle Tony Clement; Uncle Jared Dursteler along with many cousins, great aunts and uncles, great gramma, Ardith Ritter, and a whole world of people I wish I got to know better.
I was blessed to see the beauty of life for two of the best hours a kid could ask for. I had my calling on June 12, 2008. I wish my love and farewell to those who mean the world to me.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008, at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Cyrus Clay Dursteler Memorial Fund, c/o MPCU, 1515 Hoopes, Idaho Falls, ID 83404.

Dear Cyrus,
You are a beautiful, perfect little baby. Your family should be very proud of you. Now I don't want you to be too hard on yourself many girls have issues with weight and timing. It really is a girl thing and any parent knows that children will do what they want to, when they want to. They really don't listen well early in life, it is the nature and beauty of children.
Also, I do want to encourage you to remember not only those two great hours of being seen, kissed upon and held by mom and dad, but remember the over the hundred and twenty days within your mother. I know she does.
I can tell you Cyrus, you have been celebrated since you were just a little speck of life.
Your mother wrapped herself around you, your mom and dad protected you, dressed you, fed you, loved you, and shared stories about you ever before you had your first breath. You were starting to be played with, you swam, kicked and you liked hearing Wesley talk through the belly button.
Your mother especially knows your face, your movements, your smell just like you know hers. Try not to be too scared, you will see your family again, and you will be able to play with your brother and any others that join your family. Cyrus you will never be replaced because you are Cyrus Dursteler and you have been an amazing part of this world. You make a difference in peoples lives even if you are not here to be touched.
I'm sure you have many who are already loving you where you are. They say life is like a blink of the eye, so enjoy the time you have, and look forward to the sounds and smells that you know as family.
