Cynthia Laree Linger

Cynthia Laree Linger, 57, of Roberts, ID, passed away October 1, 2026, at her home.

Cynthia was born May 18, 1969, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Dwight Allen Linger and Donna Jean Park Linger. She grew up and attended schools in Rigby. She was unable to finish high school, but in 2005 she went back to school and got her GED. She also tried furthering her education through business management courses at Eastern Idaho Technical Collage.

She was a long-standing member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed cooking, camping, and fishing. She loved good puzzles, drawing pictures, and crafting projects. She truly loved sitting by a fire or around the living room with family and friends telling stories, and a good game of cards.

Cynthia is survived by her son, Jonathan (Anna) Linger of Shelley, ID; daughter, Sarah (Justin) Haire of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Louise (Daniel) Barnes of Rigby, ID; and two loving grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donna & Dwight Linger; grandparents, Renee & Earl Park; Audrey & Carl Linger; uncle, Cliff Park; aunts, Carol & Diane Park, Gail Linger; and cousin, Jay Jackson.

Private family services will be held and an open Celebration of Life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to help with the services.
