Cyndel Bates

Cyndel Bates, 20, of Idaho Falls, left this world June 3, 2019.

Cyndel was born June 20, 1998, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was the daughter of Daniel Frank Bates and Brenda Leigh Gerrard Bates.  She attended Butte Elementary in Arco, Taylorview Junior High, Idaho Falls High and Emerson Alternative School. She attended Idaho Falls High School and Eagle Rock Junior High School and Emerson.

Cyndel worked at Progrexion as a Sales Representative.

She attended Watersprings Church.  She enjoyed art, cats, music, dancing, sports, camping, volleyball, fashion, and adventure. Cyndel loved kids, spicy foods and was a great cook. She loved her family and always stood up for them.She was a diva and was always taking selfies. Anybody who had the honor of knowing her knew she was such a bright person. She had this shine to her and brought so much happiness to everyone. She will be truly missed by all who knew her this world will never be the same.

Cyndel is survived by her parents, Daniel and Brenda Bates of Idaho Falls, ID; brothers, Justin Gerrard and Jordan Bates; sisters, Krystal Zora Gerrard, step-sister, Tachelle Lynne Turner, sister-in-law, Avalon Crossley; brother-in-law, Kevin Gerrard; three nephews, Draygen Gerrard, Court Karl Sorensen, Kyle Turner; and niece, Jessica Turner.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, Jack Bates; aunts, Teresa Thatcher and Vickie Young; grandmothers, Ilene Brewer, and Vivian Gerrard; and best friend, Isabel Segura.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Wood East Side, 963 S. Ammon. The family will visit with friends Monday 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
