Craig L. Taylor

Craig Taylor, 74, of Rigby, passed away September 25, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Craig was born January 12, 1950, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Wayne G. Taylor and Mildred Gish Taylor. He grew up working at the family farm in Dayton, Idaho and attended schools in Pocatello where he graduated from Highland High School.

On August 19, 2022, he married Sheila McNeven Taylor in Rigby, ID. Craig and Sheila made their home in Rigby, Idaho. Craig worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 40 years and retired as Manager of Train Operations.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed golfing, camping, horseback riding, hunting, and a good party with family and friends.

Craig is survived by his wife, Sheila Aguilar Taylor of Rigby, ID; daughter, Chantelle (Dennis) Howell of Pocatello, ID; son, Cash (Nikki) Taylor of Rigby, ID; son, Cody Taylor of Rigby, ID; grandchildren, Madisyn, Preston, Acacia, Elyssa, Taila, Willow; and sister, Pam (Mark) Powell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Mildred Taylor; and brothers, Ridge, and Robin.

Private family graveside services will be held in Dayton, Idaho. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Humane Society.
