Craig Ellingford

Craig M. Ellingford, 63, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 4, 2010, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Craig was born August 28, 1947, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Mahlon W. Ellingford and Barbara Ellen McNeil Ellingford. He was a graduate of Idaho Falls High School. He attended Brigham Young University and Idaho State University. Craig married Cathryn Jane Harward on June 25, 1968, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They were later divorced. Craig served as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, alternating between B52's and Communications. He monitored Russian communications during the Cold War. He was assigned to Athens, Greece; Vanderberg, California; Beal Air Force Base, California; Merced, California; Spain; England; Holland; and Washington D.C. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed music and had a perfect pitch. He also enjoyed sports, hunting, and fishing. Survivors include: Son: Dr. Brian C. (Rebecca) Hulse, Williamsburg, VA Son: Jeremy R. (Andrea) Hulse, Spanish Fork, UT Daughter: Deidre (Gabe) Henderson, Spanish Fork, UT Father: Mahlon W. Ellingford, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Lon W. Ellingford, Idaho Falls, ID 9 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara; and a brother, Mark B. Ellingford. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, with President Mark Paulsen, counselor in the Idaho Falls LDS Central Stake Presidency, officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
