Coy Brown, Jr

COY J. BROWN IDAHO FALLS, ID - Coy Johnson Brown, Jr., 74, of Idaho Falls, died July 19, 2003, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born April 9, 1929 at Dillon, Montana to Coy J. Brown, Sr. and Julia Gentry Brown. He attended schools in Armstead, Montana and later Dillon, where he graduated from high school. He married Donna Christensen and they made their home in Alder, Montana where he was a rancher. She preceded him in death. On April 16, 1982, he married Dolly Lee Likes in Salt Lake City, UT. In 1990, they sold the ranch in Montana and moved to Idaho Falls. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. His hobbies included leatherworks, painting murals, and he was in the process of making a Grandfather Clock. Surviving are: Wife: Dolly Brown, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Coy J. Brown III, Clinton, MO Sister: May (Ervin) Carlson, Vaughn, MT Sister: Kizzie Brown, Helena, MT 1 Granddaughter. Cremation is are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., Idaho Falls, ID. According to his wishes, the ashes will be scattered in Montana.
