Connor Thomas

Connor Blake Thomas, 20, of Idaho Falls, passed away suddenly and peacefully of heart failure on May 6, 2024, in the comfort of his caregiver's home.

Connor was born September 14, 2003, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Jesse Randall Thomas and Jill Anne Schiess Thomas. He grew up and attended schools in Rigby and Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. He was beloved by the special needs program in school.

He loved watching movies (especially Christmas movies), stuffed animals, horses, music, and balloons. He was always happy, laughing, and full of energy. The minute you met Connor, he was your friend. He loved visiting his Schiess family farm to see the animals and spend time with family. He loved side-by-side rides and four-wheel rides, and he loved to splash and play in the water. Through all his challenges in life, Connor was a super hero, and taught others to enjoy the little things in life.

Connor is survived by his parents, Jill Thomas and Jesse (Jennifer) Thomas; sisters, Leah Marie Thomas (Mason Whitworth) of Idaho Falls, ID and Macie Lynn Ravenscraft of Idaho Falls, ID; stepbrother, Sylas Islas of Rigby, ID; stepsister, Alexis Baker of Rigby, ID; grandmother, Sheri Schiess of Logan, UT; grandparents, Blake (Lori) Thomas of Rigby, ID; Great Aunt, Kathi Jones of Idaho Falls, ID; caregiver, Caiti Johnson of Idaho Falls, ID; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Boyd Schiess of Logan, UT.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services, both visitations at the funeral home. A luncheon for the family will follow the service at 4030 John Adams Parkway, in Ammon, Idaho.
