Connor Allen Carroll, 17, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away October 9, 2016, at his home. Connor was born January 19, 1999, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Timothy Leo Carroll and Christina Marea Godfrey. Connor was baptized in the Catholic Church and grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. Connor was a Senior at Bonneville High School at the time of his death. He was working as a cook at MacKenzie River Pizza. Connor was an athlete and enjoyed playing sports, especially baseball. He enjoyed hunting and camping, and being with his friends. After his baseball career ended with a shoulder injury, he loved his dirt bike and he became a sand dune junkie. Connor had a special relationship with his younger brother, Daniel. They were best buddies. Connor’s outgoing personality, witty charm, and infectious smile impacted all of us. Please never forget this amazing young man who has touched all of our lives in the short 17 years that he was with us. The outpouring of love and support from the community has been astounding and has moved the hearts of his family and is greatly appreciated. Connor is survived by his mother, Christina Godfrey of Iona, ID; father, Tim Carroll (Megan Hoffer) of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Daniel James Carroll of Idaho Falls, ID; step-sister, Kayla Jo Hoffer of Idaho Falls, ID; step-brother, Logan Godfrey of Rigby, ID; step-sister, Karlie Godfrey of Rigby, ID; step-sister, Kelsie Landon of Idaho Falls, ID; and grandparents, James and Carol Winn of Salina, KS. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Margie Carroll. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2016, at the Iona LDS Stake Center, 7555 North 55th East, with Bishop Lance Lindley officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
