Connie Mitchell

Connie Lee Maughan Mitchell passed away Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls from a short illness. Connie was born in Logan, Utah, on Aug. 10, 1947, to Conway Leishman Maughan and Rula Hailstone Maughan. She attended Logan city schools and graduated from Logan High School. She worked for Frontier Airlines and Park City Transportation. Connie enjoyed the outdoors: camping, fishing and hunting. She was an avid gardener, growing fruit and vegetables which she canned in large amounts and shared generously with others. She was happiest when feeding her friends and family. She loved traveling, new experiences and made friends easily. Her zest for life, an interest in the world around her and her dry sense of humor will be greatly missed by family and friends. Connie is survived by her daughter, Natalie Byrne of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Blaise, Tatum and Morgan; her father, Conway; aunt, Roma Jenkins of Bountiful, Utah; sisters, Pat Budge of Draper, Utah, Terri (Michael) Smith of Providence, Utah, Kathie (Ward) Wessels of Salt Lake City and Julie Maughan of Logan, Utah; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rula, and brothers, Steve and Mike. We wish to express sincere appreciation to Dr. Michael Lemon and the many nurses and health care providers at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center who provided so much kind, loving and attentive care to her during her hospitalization. There will be no funeral at Connie's request.

No Services will be held. Connie passed away
