CONNIE JOHNSON Click here to view a video of Connie's life SHELLEY, ID -- Connie Blanche Ellingford Johnson, 73, of Shelley, passed away July 6, 2008, at her home of natural causes. She was born May 26, 1935, in Ammon, Idaho, to Benjamin Lee Ellingford and Blanche Wetzel Ellingford. She grew up and attended schools in Ammon and graduated from Ammon High School. She married Vaughn Grant Johnson March 6, 1961, in Reno, Nevada. She was a homemaker and mother and also worked for many years at Idaho First National Bank and the Bank of Idaho, which later became Wells Fargo Bank. She retired in 1992. Vaughn passed away May 31, 1993. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, and watching baseball and basketball. She especially loved activities involving her grandchildren, Nicole (Ethan) Christensen, Jamie Moore, Jordan Johnson, Brittny Johnson, and great granddaughter, Alysa Christensen. Survivors include: Daughter: Lisa (Bryon) Moore of Shelley, ID Son: Kurt Johnson of Shelley, ID Brother: Jerry (Sandy) Ellingford of Kansas City, MO 4 Grandchildren & 1 Great Granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2008, at the Ammon Cemetery, with Bishop Arden Anderson of the Shelley LDS 8th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Wood East Side Chapel, 963 S. Ammon Road. ---------------------------------------------
